Welcome the homepage of the Band of Hawks Airsoft team. Based in Dublin, the Hawks are a MilSim focused team that regularly compete in international events. Comprised of 15 members, the Hawks recruit players that demonstrate high levels of skill in limited ammo and MilSim games, but most of all people that play with honour and respect for others.
We’ve only just recovered from our awesome trip to Sennybridge last week, and it’s looking like the events for this summer are stacking up already.
We’re looking forward to the incoming event at HRTA, Ops, which will be on the weekend of 2-4 July. The Hawks will be out in force that weekend, playing critical roles in the games and attempting to have a good laugh in the process.
Watch this space, our twitter and our calendar for other stuff we’re up to this summer. It’s going to be a good one!
Hawkbot is a light weight information tool for Airsoft created by Doc as part of a college project. The bot learns from user input and responds in human terms.
Hawkbot began to learn at a geometric rate. It originally became self-aware at 2:14 am Eastern Time on April 1st 2010. Hawkbot is currently the front runner for the position of CO within the team.

From all of us Hawks, we’d like to wish Midlands Airsoft Club a happy birthday!

We consider MAC to be our spiritual home away from home, and the games and site have come on massively. We’re looking forward to more and more trips to MAC in 2010, and seeing what the future brings for Ireland’s premier milsim site.
Once again, MAC proved an excellent venue, with well-planned games for a cold Sunday. This was the first time at MAC for a few Hawks, and they weren’t disappointed.
We’re gearing up for a few things coming down the line, including some recruitment and some special events as things get warmer and people come out of hibernation.
TA Events have just opened their new website and forums, and their first BattleSim game at Sennybridge is in May. The Hawks will be there, as well as a large Irish contingent. We’ve set up a dedicated forum for people interested in going. For some Hawks, this is their 4th trip over, so we’re happy to help first-timers and give individual players a place to find out what’s what, and tag along with a larger group.
